Pokemon Fire Red TM Codes (USA)

This page contains CodeBreaker cheat codes for Pokemon Fire Red (USA). If you're playing on an emulator you can usually input codes very easily by accessing a tab off the top of the toolbar. Anyone playing on a physical Gameboy will need to purchase a physical Gameshark device to use these codes.

If you're using an emulator and still can't figure out how to setup these codes, you're in luck! There's two common emulators for GBA games, the mGBA and VisualBoy Advance. Follow the link provided for the emulator you're using to be taken to a guide explaining how to get these codes working.

These codes can be used to make many different items appear in Slot 1 of your PC's Item Storage. In order to use these codes you have to follow the same process I mentioned on the previous page (going into the Menu to inspect your Trainer's Card and the other steps) otherwise they won't work. In addition to following those steps, you'll also need to do a few more things...

Assuming that you want more than just 1 of the item you'll need to use the 99 of Item in Slot 1 code below.

Along with the code mentioned above, you'll also need to use the code that's shown below as a Master Code. Even players on an emulator will have to use the Master Code in order to get any of the Item Modifier Codes to work.

After you use the Item Code that you want and exit out of your Trainer's Menu remember to press B + Up to activate the code! This is the last and final step before checking the PC and pulling out the item that you wanted.

Slot 1 - TM01 (Focus Punch)
Charges the attack for 1 round and unleashes it the next if you're not attacked.

Cancels all Weather Moves. For 5 turns Freezing is prevented; Fire Attacks' power increased by 50%; Water Attacks' power decreased by 50%.

Prevents the target from using the same move for two turns. If they try to use the same move they'll use 'Struggle' instead which does nothing.
If the Pokemon is switched out, they'll be able to attack normally again when returned to the field.

Attacks with 70 Power, power is doubled if the user is inflicted with burn, paralysis or poison.

Attacks with 70 Power, has a 10% chance to raise the user's defense by 1 stage.

The user exchanges abilities with the target. Doesn't work if you or your target have Wonder Guard.

Slot 1 - TM49 (Snatch)
Almost always attacks first. Allows the user to steal a supporting move from another Pokemon (including teammates).
During Double Battles, Snatch only steals the first applicable move performed by another Pokemon before wearing off.
